Tradition and the art of brewing combined

This traditional event is now taking place for the 31st time. As always, the Feldschlößchen Brewery will be taking part in the parade with its own team of horses. Marching bands and brass bands provide the beer procession with the right marching rhythm.

Historic brewery teams, strong and wonderfully decorated horses, heavily loaded wagons with traditional wooden barrels and proud beer drivers are the highlights of the annual “Eibauer Beer Parade”.

Thousands of visitors will once again line the almost four kilometer long beer train road from Walddorf to the festival site in Eibau. A hearty beer tapping in front of the Waldkretscham inn by political celebrities from the state government from Dresden kicks things off. The impressive march with over 90 individual images begins promptly on Sunday at 11 a.m. The five participating Saxon breweries and one brewery from the nearby Czech Republic will also be there, showcasing their different traditions and variety of beers. It goes without saying that beery samples from Görlitz and Löbau, from Radeberg and Meißen, from Dresden and from Varnsdorf in the Czech Republic will be offered during the beer parade!

Experience this special appreciation of the popular barley juice with a freshly tapped Felschlößchen along the festival parade!
