SV Bannewitz was founded on June 4, 1886 by the workers' sports movement and today has over 400 active members. The first men's soccer team plays in the district league. In addition to soccer, there is an extensive range of sporting activities on the club's own premises. Feldschlößchen has been supporting the club near the brewery since 2013. Of course, after training or at home games, athletes and guests can look forward to a freshly tapped Feldschlößchen in the lovingly decorated athletes' home.
